Linkzzey's closest call was when he was battling a Warden. Check out this video to see that moment and some of his other close calls!
Complacency
Link’s biggest defense against dying is avoiding complacency. He always keeps Fire Resistance potions in his inventory and Golden Apples in his hotbar for emergencies.
Beacon Effects
Link uses beacons to provide additional protection around his builds and main travel routes, giving him effects that make mistakes and unexpected situations much more survivable.
Elytra & Chestplate
Link keeps his chestplate on whenever his feet are on the ground. The main exception is the End, where he switches to an elytra and keeps it on. He keeps his chestplate and a spare elytra in his hotbar, and carries Slow Falling potions to protect against falling into the void.
Upon the end of Season 1, Link will take some time off to create a series of YouTube videos about the world. With the record-breaking world coming to a close, he expects his views to be elevated, which is why he plans to use this time to make the most of the attention surrounding its ending. When he returns, Link will start a new world, this time using large biomes.
Link uses a handful of resource packs, data packs, and mods to enhance the vanilla experience! All lists and info can be found on the Mods and Packs page.
Link always says that the later into the game you go, the more opportunities start to show up. As the game progresses, there’s always something new to work toward, something else to explore, or another opportunity waiting around the corner. Because of that, he never really gets bored. He genuinely loves what he does, and that passion keeps him engaged. He has a video on boredom on his YouTube, which you can find here.
Link builds for his viewers. On Twitch, he has a redemption called “Ascend,” which costs 1,000,000 channel points. These points can be earned simply by watching his streams. When someone redeems the reward, they provide Link with a title, and he builds something for them based around that title (e.g. ''God of ____'', Queen of ____'') .He currently has a queue of 200+ people waiting for their builds, meaning he has a huge backlog of ideas to work through and, as a result, plenty of content to provide.
This is also the reason he doesn't have a favorite build.
Link's Hardcore world seed is private for as long as he's playing on it. It will be made public when he dies and loses his world.
Link would not die for any amount of money to end his Hardcore world. He was featured in a Mr. Beast Gaming video where he declined $1,000,000 and explained why.
On Twitch, there are several ways to spend your Channel Points.
Channel points can be earned simply by watching, maintaining a watch streak, subscribing at different tiers, gifting subscriptions, and cheering with bits! The Hall of Fame = See the Hall of Fame category.
Immortalize (50,000 points) = You can get yourself an armor stand placed in Links world! You choose a head, (leather) armor color, and the location! Most places are free for you to immortalize, however, doing !trespass in Twitch chat will give you a list of the places that are off-limits.Guards (55,000 points) = These rewards happen at the end of an Ascension build. This is like the Immortalize redemption, but you're placed at the newest Ascension. You also get your Twitch username placed above your armor stand.
Ascend (1,000,000 points) = You can choose a title (e.g. ''Queen of ___'', ''Lord of ___'') and Link will build you something based around your title. You are more than welcome to give him your inspiration or a general theme, but he has complete control over what is constructed. You also need to immortalize before you ascend.
Megasode (2,000,000 points) = Based on your ascension title, Link will build you something else off-stream and will become a YouTube video. You need to ascend to redeem this reward.
The Hall of Fame (HOF), is a reward system for loyal viewers of the Twitch livestreams. You need 21 days of watchtime and 100,000 channel points to get your spot in there. Essentially, you get a plot which you can customize to your liking using the other redemptions in chat. There are a range of plot themes to choose from of which images can all be found in the discord, in the hof-support channel. To see which halls are free, you can simply do !openhof in chat.Given it's operated using watchtime and channel points, it is exclusive to Twitch viewers.
No, Link does not have a Totem farm. He believes totems should be earned through raids, and this is why he has his own rules on how to earn them. Link explains these rules in his Nether Hub Redesign video.
